I can't wait for us to discuss The Hours; it's such an exciting book in the new wave of literature at the beginning of this century. It blends the boundaries between real life and fiction; history and imagining until Mrs Dalloway becomes a New York lesbian socialite, Clarissa (whose nickname is Mrs Dalloway) who almost meets Meryl Streep, or possibly Vanessa Redgrave and then if the overlapping wasn't enough Meryl Streep takes the lead in the film of The Hours and Vanessa Redgrave takes the role of Mrs Dalloway in the eponymous film!

Ah it's all too much for one person to bear so make sure you're all there on the second Sunday of the Month, for Rainbow Readers meeting in the Sun Hotel on Church Street at 3.30pm in Lancaster
